This page explains how Universal Peace Federation Africa (UPF Africa) handles data in the private content engine it uses to prepare its own content. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Our content engine and Google data

UPF Africa runs a private content engine, built on n8n, to prepare its own reports, newsletters and social posts. Only UPF Africa staff use it, and it runs on a computer and a private server that UPF Africa controls. With the access a staff member grants through Google sign-in, it reads, creates, edits and copies files in UPF Africa’s own Google Drive, Docs and Sheets. It shares those files with the team members working on them. It also sends email from UPF Africa’s Gmail account, such as review and approval requests, but it does not read anyone’s inbox. To draft, check, illustrate and voice our content, it sends the text of these working files to the AI services we use (OpenAI, Google Gemini and ElevenLabs), only for that task. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.

Keeping, deleting and removing access

Working files stay in UPF Africa’s Google Drive for as long as our team needs them for its work and archive. The engine also keeps records of its runs on our own systems. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. We will delete it from our files and the engine’s records, and confirm by email. If you signed in to the engine with your Google account, you can remove its access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
