Peace Road Activities Held in Lacs Prefecture to Promote Unity and Reconciliation

On October 18, 2024, a significant Peace Road event took place at the headquarters of the Lacs 1 Commune in Aneho, a border town between Togo and Benin, located 50 kilometers east of Lomé in the Maritime Region of Togo. The event, held under the theme "One Family, One People, One Nation," commenced at 11:22 AM and concluded at 1:34 PM.

UPF Africa and FFWPU-Benin Strengthen Ties with the President of the Protestant Methodist Church

In Benin, UPF Africa, represented by its Secretary General, and the National leader of the Family Federation, paid a courtesy visit to Rev. Dr. Amos HOUNSA, President of the Protestant Methodist Church of Benin and current President of IAPD-Benin.
Rev. Dr. HOUNSA, a participant in the 2022 Summit in Korea, where he had the privilege of meeting True Mother, has shown unwavering commitment to the values of family education, formalized through a signed memorandum of understanding. UPF Africa Engages Niger’s Leaders in Preparation for Summit 2025

During a recent visit to Niger, UPF Africa Regional Secretary General, Dr. Paterne Zinsou, made a series of courtesy and solidarity visits to key dignitaries, extending formal invitations to the 2025 Summit in Korea. Among those visited were:
H.E. Brigi Rafini, former Prime Minister and former Executive Secretary of CEN-SAD.
H.E. Mahamadou Issoufou, former President of Niger and AU FTAA Champion.
The visits served as an opportunity to express UPF's gratitude for their continued support and to discuss the upcoming summit. Both dignitaries expressed their commitment to participating in the event.

Meeting with Traditional Leaders in Lomé to Promote Peace

On Monday, October 7, 2024, a meeting was held at the royal court of the Secretary General of the National Council of Traditional Leaders in Lomé. The gathering included 15 participants, among them a delegation from UPF-Togo (UPF-TG).
The meeting's purpose was to introduce UPF to the esteemed traditional leaders and recognize them as Ambassadors for Peace at the national level.
