Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Minna, capital city of Niger State, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), in collaboration with the Christian-Muslim Inter-Religious Peace Foundation (CHANMUS), celebrated over a Thousand Four Hundred (1,400) graduates who completed several months of Special  Skilled Acquisition Training for Youths, Orphans and Widows, organized and sponsored by the two organizations, particularly, the Niger State Ambassadors for Peace; and supported by the Niger State  Government and other institutions, to develop a culture of solidarity and a spirit of sharing to achieve social justice and combat poverty and crime. 

In preparation for the training program, the Niger State UPF Ambassadors for Peace Coordinator,  Amb. UPF Burkina Faso Participates in Peace Concert Led by Renowned Artist Amity Meria

On Friday, October 25, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation of Burkina Faso (UPF-BF) participated in a Peace Concert organized by Amity Meria, an internationally renowned artist and Peace Ambassador. The event, held at the National Center for Performing Arts and Audiovisuals (CENASA), celebrated peace, resilience, and national unity.

UPF Burkina Faso Promotes Peace and Social Cohesion with Public Conference

The Universal Peace Federation of Burkina Faso (UPF-BF) organized a public conference to promote peace and social cohesion. Themed “Promoting a Culture of Peace”, the event attracted a large audience of approximately 1,200 participants.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Diarra Thomas, Secretary General of UPF-BF, who emphasized the importance of the Ambassadors for Peace serving as role models. He encouraged them to live for the sake of others, promote peace, and inspire those around them. Gabon Prepares for AIPD Launch with Religious Leaders Conference

The Foundation of the League of Ecclesiastical Leaders for Peace in the World (LILEP) and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) organized a conference at the Ministry of Spirit and Truth (M.E.V) in Gabon. The event focused on the Universal Principles of Peace, highlighted the role of religious leaders during Gabon’s transitional period, and attracted over 100 participants, including prominent religious and community figures.

UPF Mali Partners with Mercy Corps to Promote Social Cohesion in Flood-Affected Communities

In response to recent security challenges and devastating floods, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Mali collaborated with local Peace Ambassadors to support affected communities, particularly in the San region, located 450 km from Bamako. Building on a 2022 family sensitization program that engaged 43 couples, UPF-Mali partnered with Mercy Corps in October 2024 to launch a pilot initiative across 10 villages.
