Dr. Charles S. Yang, the International Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation International, visited Nigeria in a landmark effort to bolster peacebuilding initiatives.

Strengthening Global Peacebuilding: UPF International Chairman Dr. Charles S. Yang Visits Nigeria

From November 13 to 17, 2024, Dr. Charles S. Yang, the International Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), visited Nigeria in a landmark effort to bolster peacebuilding initiatives. His visit was instrumental in strengthening ties between UPF Nigeria and UPF International, with a focus on critical issues such as the reunification of North and South Korea and the preparation of leaders for the upcoming World Summit in April 2025.
Dr. Yang’s arrival in Abuja was met with an enthusiastic reception at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, where he was warmly welcomed by UPF Nigeria leadership, including Dr. Kathy Rigney, the Co-chair of UPF Africa, Rev. Consolidating Partnerships for Peace: Dr. Paterne Zinsou’s Mission in Brazzaville

Dr. Paterne Zinsou, the Regional Secretary General (SG) of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and Coordinator of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (AIPP) in Africa, conducted a mission in Brazzaville, Congo. This mission aimed to strengthen partnerships, prepare for upcoming UPF events, and engage with national leaders and institutions.

UPF Mali Honors ISTAG Director and CNT Vice-President at Graduation Ceremony

The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Mali has reaffirmed its commitment to education and peace-building through its strong partnership with the Higher Institute of Applied Technology and Management (ISTAG). This collaboration has flourished under the leadership of the UPF Chairman of Mali, who serves as an honorary member of ISTAG. Together, they have been advancing character education and leadership development in Mali.
On November 30, 2024, this partnership was prominently celebrated during a grand ceremony held at the International Conference Center of Bamako (CICB). The event, which coincided with ISTAG's 10th anniversary, also served as the graduation ceremony for two students who successfully completed a character education program. Commemoration of the National Peace Day 2024 in Kripahioa

Under the guidance of Chairman H.E. AKA Sayé Lazare, President of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Côte d’Ivoire, and at the initiative of Vice-President Dr. Ambroise A. KESSIÉ, the UPF celebrated the 2024 edition of the National Peace Day. The event took place over two days, Saturday, November 16, and Sunday, November 17, in the village of Kripahio, located in the sub-prefecture of Gagnoa.
During the two-day event, Peace Ambassadors received training on various essential topics to strengthen their commitment to peacebuilding. These topics included the Five Principles of Peace Ambassadors, which highlight the core values and responsibilities of their role. Building capacity for peace: UPF training session in Burkina Faso

On November 23, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) of Burkina Faso organized a training session aimed at strengthening the capacities of existing Peace Ambassadors and candidates for future appointments. The session, held under the theme “Building Peaceful Families to Heal the World,” brought together participants committed to advancing the vision of peace and harmony.
The program commenced with a video presentation highlighting the lives, goals, and mission of the UPF founders and the vital role of Peace Ambassadors in achieving these objectives.
