Peace Road 2024 August – DR Congo

The event commenced with an opening prayer led by Reverend Kibungi Manunga, National Coordinator of AIPD DRC, followed by welcoming remarks from the UPF National Coordinator and Moderator, Reverend Nguvulu Mukangu. The main speech was delivered by Reverend Mawanga Bambuta, National Leader of FFWPU DRC, emphasizing the importance of peace and unity in overcoming the nation’s challenges.

UPF GHANA MARKS PEACE ROAD 2024

Ghana celebrated the Peace Road 2024, a significant initiative promoting peace, unity, and health. The event featured three main segments: a Peace Walk, a Health Talk, and a Football Match, bringing together participants from various communities in Accra.

Peace Walk and Health Talk

The event began at 9:30 AM with a prayer led by Pastor Paul Akoto of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU). The Peace Walk commenced at the Achimota Old Station, a well-known landmark in Accra, accompanied by a brass band and Police Crowd Managers ensuring safety. Peace Road 2024 in Ethiopia

The Peace Road 2024 event in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, took place on August 4th, 2024, following a slight rescheduling from the originally planned date of August 3rd. The event aimed to explore critical topics on Conflict Resolution, peacebuilding, and the role of Abel-Type UN in promoting peace globally, especially in Korea.

The event was attended by 12 Ambassadors for Peace, who contributed to the discussion and reflected on the role of peacebuilding in Ethiopia and globally.
