Conference on Universal Principles for National Unity and Restoration of Institutions Held in Gabon
On July 27, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and partner organizations held a significant conference in Gabon titled "Universal Principles for National Unity and Restoration of Institutions." This event aimed to address the current political climate in Gabon and explore strategies for restoring institutions during a transitional period. Over 110 participants attended the conference, including representatives from various sectors. Despite the planned Peace Road March being canceled due to legal restrictions, the event successfully brought together prominent speakers and received wide media coverage.
Under the leadership of WFWP Gabon President Laetitia Reine DAKOUO, the conference began with a minute of silence to honor fallen Ambassadors for Peace. The national anthem, sung in Nzébi by young FFWPU members, set the tone for the day. Keynote speakers such as Ambassador Jean Delors BIYOGUE BI NTOUGOU and traditionalist Benga Bengone underscored the importance of moral education, national unity, and family values in the restoration of institutions. His Excellency SIAKA DIARRA, in his concluding remarks, highlighted the family as the cornerstone of an ideal society.
Inauguration of New UPF Liberia Officials
On July 31, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Liberian chapter proudly inaugurated its newly elected officials. The ceremony began with Rev. Gerald B. Coleman, who presented UPF's ongoing peace initiatives. Rt. Rev. Dr. Arthur F. Kulah emphasized the critical importance of dedicating efforts to fostering peace in today’s world.
The induction of the new officials was conducted by Rev. Pamela S. M. Mwanga, who underscored UPF’s five guiding principles that are central to its mission. The newly appointed Chairman, Dr. Jayjay, expressed his commitment to advancing these principles and furthering UPF's global vision.
The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the founders of UPF, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire and guide the organization's efforts for global peace.

Peace Road 2024 Conference at Hyo Jeong Peace Center - Maputo, Mozambique
On August 3, 2024, UPF Mozambique organized a Peace Road event at the Hyo Jeong Peace Center in Maputo, bringing together 81 participants, including pastors, prophets, and theologians. The event aimed to promote the ideology of peace and honor the significant achievements of the True Parents.
The conference, themed "Peace Begins with Me," emphasized the importance of individual and family peace as the foundation for wider societal harmony. The event also featured a theologians' graduation ceremony, celebrating the completion of theological studies and highlighting the crucial role of theologians in advancing peace and social cohesion within communities.
